Miller Aims to Extend CUE Series Lead

Jason Miller will be aiming to extend his overall points lead in the CUE Production Sports Car Enduro Championship when he returns to the wheel of his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car for Round 3 of the series at Winton this weekend.

Miller leads the standings by virtue of his strong performances in the season opener at Sydney Motorsport Park, and Round 2 at Bathurst where he and Richard Baskus scored the Class A win.

However, Miller will drive solo in both this weekend’s one-hour races.

“It will be physically and mentally challenging driving both races solo, but it means I get plenty of seat time,” Miller said.

“There is possibly going to be some rain this weekend as well, which will make things interesting.

“The Winton track has a much slower average speed than the previous circuits we’ve visited; it’s far more technical.

“This weekend, we’ll obviously be aiming to win our class again. We had a good test at the circuit a couple of months ago, and we were punching out consistently competitive times.”

Qualifying and racing for the CUE Series gets underway tomorrow.
